Dr Kate Allen gained her undergraduate degree in Dentistry from the University of Adelaide in 1984. She pursued further studies in a Master of Dental Surgery, specialising in Orthodontics, also at the University of Adelaide, which was completed in 1993.

Today she has over thirty years of experience caring for her patients orthodontic needs, delivering the highest professional standards, principles and skills. She is committed to advising you honestly, accurately and transparently at all times.

In addition to operating her own practice since 1996, Kate has contributed to a range of areas within the orthodontic profession including teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students at The University of Adelaide. She is also an active member of the Australian Dental Association as well as the Australian Society of Orthodontists, remaining up to date with the latest developments and advances in both her specialty and general dentistry.

Recently Kate has welcomed two caring orthodontists to work alongside her

Dr Prash Sooriakumaran and Dr Sven Jensen. 

Prash completed his dental training in Manchester, England, before moving to Australia in 2002. He gained extensive experience in general dentistry before undertaking specialist orthodontic training at the University of Adelaide. He is now settled in Adelaide with his wife and nine-month-old son, Henry.

Sven grew up in the Adelaide Hills and completed his dental and specialist orthodontic training at the University of Adelaide.  Sven and his wife are currently living in Canada where Sven is completing a one-year fellowship in Craniofacial and Special Needs Orthodontics at the University of Toronto. You will meet Sven when he returns to Adelaide, mid-2020.
