Dr Prash Sooriakumaran

Dr Prash Sooriakumaran completed his dental training in Manchester (UK) and moved to Australia in 2002.

He spent 15 years in general dentistry, including 5 years as a country councillor for the ADAWA, and served as a restorative demonstrator and examiner for the BDS finals at the University of Western Australia.

Prash is a clinical tutor to orthodontic postgraduate students at the Adelaide Dental Hospital.

Dr Tennent Emerson

BBiomedSc, BSc(Hons), BDS, DCD(Ortho)

A graduate of the University of Melbourne with dual degrees in Biomedical Science and Science, he earned his dental degree at the University of Adelaide before dedicating 13 years to general dentistry, working in private practices in Hobart and Brighton, Victoria.

Dr Tennent became a globally recognised educator, lecturing across Australia, Europe, Asia, and the USA as one of the 3M’s youngest Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in anterior aesthetics.

Expanding his expertise into the more complex areas of dental reconstruction, Dr Tennent has completed extensive training in dental implants invited to be a Fellow of the prestigious International Team for Implantology (ITI) based in Switzerland. This landmark achievement recognises Dr Tennent as the only specialist orthodontist worldwide to be a Fellow of the ITI.

Having returned to the University of Melbourne to complete his specialist orthodontic residency, Tennent now focuses on conservative, interdisciplinary treatment.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Tennent is a firm believer in leading a balanced lifestyle. You will often find him on the golf course or enjoying the outdoors, staying active through health and fitness.
